Where did "Derestrictor" go?

Just going back through the archives and the poster 'Derestrictor' was quite prominent in the BMW M section of the forum. His reading style reminded me of LJK Setwright in many ways; witty, pithy, longer than neccesary but amusing all the same.

Anyone know what happened to him? Seemed like a very nice chap.

And where did Matty/Vladamir go? The guy with the 335d who couldn't stop bragging about it until he bought an M135i and couldn't stop boasting about that. I thought he was extremely entertaining.

I really miss Vlad too and he was always good fun and he invented the "junior supercar" for the M135i and he was also a massive 335d fan and he thought it deserved the best car in the world award and I miss him as a character on here.

Yes, enjoyed reading his very distinctive prose and he had impeccably good taste in cars (E39 M5, Alpina B5, etc IIRC).

Yes, enjoyed reading his very distinctive prose and he had impeccably good taste in cars (E39 M5, Alpina B5, etc IIRC).

Think he still reads, he's good pals with one of the guys in the ///M-barge thread.

Everyone gets offended at everything these days....I would not be surprised if Derestrictor got a red card for being too clever with words.

I fill with utter dismay, in those brevious moments of whim, at the dire sacrilege of this emongerous world in which we erstwhile reside!!

Ah, yes, he delivered my TV after suitable advice.

I viewed one on the High Street first, then bought it from Derestrictor.

And, for that, I was deemed to be blessed with "council estate manners" by one PH worthy....

He also seems to have disappeared.

Don't think Der was banned. He merely chose/chooses to spend less time on the forums.

Vladimir was banned. Bless him. An angry small chap with a boggo 335d SE in an odd colour that he couldn't understand was worth nothing at trade in. Then the junior super car came along.......

DXB is still about on other forums. Drives a lovely 997 GT3 these days. It was a shame the PH massive turned on him as he's a heart of gold and a good man. Just perhaps a bit over enthusiastic in relation to a certain diesel 3 series.
