Is 3 months too soon to feel nostalgic. Despite the mileage the M6 always scrubbed up well, and miss that v10 tingle from the eisenmann.

Wow that's some miles, has the engine ever been apart ? Owners are always going on about wear on the shells and some have replaced them at 60k to prevent crank damage. My V10 is on 57K and love it.
Spoke to a guy the other day who had bought a new M4 and traded his M6 V10 , he loves the M4 but still misses the V10. I think he said in hindsight he would have kept the M6 as it was more of a GT car, more comfy and better sound but horrendus fuel consumption.

What did you buy to replace the M6 ?

Looks clean but it will be a brave man who takes that on irrespective of price! Picking up my f13 M6 next week with 20k and thought that was highish.

Engine was fine, e en did half a dozen track days when it was a bit fresher. Fuel injection and top end were fettled, and cats were a shocker when they went.

Swapped for a 997 turbo with a manual box.

High miles combined with regular servicing have not deterred long term M car ownership, my previous e39 M5 went to 126k before I was tempted by the M6 back in 2006. The M5 was less complex and needed less fettling, and was even on the original clutch. High miles and half a dozen track days, the Achilles heal for the M5 was the brake discs warping. Not the case for the e63 M6.
