Been looking for one of the above for a short while as just need to get the V10 out of my system.
Driving will be 50% motorways and 50% country roads and weekend use. For a simple Sunday blast or small road trip with some spirited driving thrown in, is the M6 much better, more fun, then the M5 or are they very similar?

I'd say they're pretty similar, they share the same engine, gearbox and a lot of other stuff.

The M6 coupe will be lighter have a lower centre of gravity but I couldn't notice the difference when I test drove one compared to the M5. The M6 is actually longer and wider.

To be honest I think it all boils down looks and practicality and if you're not bothered about those things then just find the best example you can find!

M6 handles better marginally, more streamlined and has a higher top end. It rides alot stiffer too even in comfort mode.

You won't notice it unless you cane them.

They're both pretty awesome, but I happen to prefer the image and looks of the M5 over the M6.

The M6 is bigger too, but less spacious inside.

M5 is the one!

As a weekend car I'd take the M6. Much nicer cabin and I think it's dating better than the M5. I loved my M5 but the interior is a bit bland.

I agree. This is mine.

Quite stiffly sprung though so in Sport mode on back country roads it drives alot like a sports car. On the motorway though in comfort mode its so refined.
