Has anyone tried to improve the sound of an m4?

I have an m4 convertible and I'm considering trying to make it sound a little better with a new exhaust system. Has anyone done this to their car and did it make much difference? Are any systems better than other?

I have this year driven M4, M4 Conv, M3 ( with MPerformance Exhaust ). The difference that the MP exhaust made to the overall experience was huge in my opinion. Sounded phenomenal to the point that when I hopefully order one next year, it is a "must have" option.
