As it says in the title, what the heck is this? I found two of these in the back seat of my new car (well, new to me).

They've got ///M badges on so they're obviously worth a couple of horsepower each... just wanted to know where to install them

Strut top covers.

Flux capacitor cover. With the M logo so will be faster.

Yes they cover the three bolts on the top of the suspension towers under the bonnet

They are to cover the odd looking offset top mounts, I guess BMW didn't want people constantly asking them if they were fitted right.
