Z4m abs pump ...

Hi all

My bro in law has just purchased a lovely roadster.

It's got the abs light on and fault code shows permanent fault on pump, not receiving CAN message or something.

So presuming it's the pump what other BMW's use the same pump!? I've seen some scary prices mentioned by repairs at stealers. Really want a pretty economic repair if there is such a thing

They all do that sooner or later. Unfortunately it's a specific M part, fortunately they can be fixed for a couple of hundred quid. Try ECUtesting, they sorted mine last year.

That seems better value ! Something like changing he fluids wouldn't solve anything would it?

No, fluid change will not help. As above take it out and send it to ECU testing.
