MY2017 M4

Hi,

Just placed a deposit for a new M4 CP today - Sakhir Orange & Black.

I've read that the MY2017 orders kick in after July, is that right? Eg if the car is delivered in Sept does that mean it's by default an MY2017?

I've also heard there are a few tweaks in the MY2017 model (iDrive & apple play possibly). Does anyone know anything about it?

One thing that popped up when I ordered it was Sakhir Orange had become Sakhir Orange II. No idea whether this changes anything and it got my wondering if any other bits had changed, new options, price changes etc. I get until Monday before the order actually places.

I assume the online guide must have to be changed to align but it still looks like the MY2016 at the moment.

Any guidance appreciated.

Usually the next model year starts building late Aug...so you would need to find out your build slot date.

I can't recall the dates, but I'm pretty sure the changes you are referring to start in July. Check the info on M3Cutters for more detail.

Any car built after week 27 will have the model updates.

On the M4 with Professional Multimedia as standard this will have the updated iDrive software and newer enhanced Bluetooth with wireless charging, but as yet Apple Car Play is unconfirmed as far as I can see.
