Bought a new one!

Sorry, but I've got that lovely 'new car' feeling, thought I'd share. Been considering another one for a while, viewed a few, been tempted by various other stuff, but ultimately loved my Mk1 so much it was the obvious choice.
Totally lucked out on this one, appeared this weekend, minutes down the road, been to see it twice today and made the leap - picking it up during the week.
Mk2 1.8is, Very very clean body, lovely and shiny, not a single dent, few scratches etc. Got the nice stereo, the nicer Nardi wheel etc. Engine runs exactly as you'd expect from any MX-5. ~90k miles, 10 month MOT, taxed, brand new (very, very nice) mohair hood. CD changer
Car is fitted with some really nice (but perhaps not me) O.Z Superleggeras with decent matching tyres - I have my just refurbed NR-a edition Enkies sitting here ready for some tyres, which I'll probably fit. White 15's on Red should look lovely I hope! hopefully should make a few quid back on the 17's too!
Even with the 17" wheels fitted - I am really impressed with how 'solid' and composed it feels compared to a Mk1. Car has the Mk2 Bilstein suspension setup. Alignment felt bang on.
All for £2300. You can say what you want about MX-5 - but you just cannot argue with the Value!
Dead excited to pick it up... and then start modifying it

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 17s are absolutely fine on a Mk2. The ride is actually better and it feels more stable at speed. 15s feel a bit more "lively" but only really "better" in very tight twisties.
I have 17s for road and 15s for track (yes they do fit over Sport brakes) but only because 15 track tyres are so much cheaper than 17s.

Thanks everyone! I really wanted a 10ae like yours Claire as there pretty lovely, but I only found a rotten one nearby.
Ref the wheels - as I stated, i was really impresseed with the ride on the 17's and it does look good. I'll make a decision at one point though, mainly based on what looks cooler!
Gogg - yes, don't want to break the forum rules but PM me!
