Regulator for a Mark 1

Just back from a trip to Germany and the Ring (what a place) took the MK one I recently picked up as a track toy and it was excellent fun if a little asthmatic up the hills (a supercharger should help with that!;))but superb fun round the ring in the rain...

Anyway i digress, the car was fantastic and completely reliable mechanically, the only issue is the regulator on the driver side window gave up the ghost so I need to source a new/used one.

Where's the best place to pick up a driver side Regulator for a 98 S MK one?

Sure its not just the cable thats broke ? Its a common problem.

It's definitely the regulator a mate whose had a MK1 confirmed so yesterday when he looked at it.

Right, I've bought the regulator but need someone to fit it (yes I'm a mechanical retard before anyone says it's easy DIY it and yes I've seen the thread on MX5Nutz with the picture step by step).

So the challenge is I need it fitted on Monday during the day as I'm looking to do a track evening probably Cadwell. There is some cash waiting and a beer if anyone can help on Monday morning or early afternoon near Leicester?
