MKI Hard Top?

I just sold my trusty MKI (sniff sniff miss it already).

The guy I sold it to didn't want the hard top so I have it sitting in the garage.
I was going to put it on eBay but would I get a better price waiting for winter?

How much would I expect to get for it now or in winter?

Am I right in thinking they fit the MK II as well?

I think I paid £400 for mine a few years ago.

My suggestion is look at completed listings on E-Bay and see what they have gone for.

Yes. Electrical connectors are different though for the rear window. But physically identical otherwise.

I sold one which was in reasonable condition for £250, in February.

To be honest you'll be lucky to get more than £250 at the moment sadly. I put mine up for £300 (genuine mazda, good condition, classic red, heated screen) and it didn't shift so reluctantly let it go for £250. Hold off until winter if you can, I couldn't - needed money asap!

Bloody hell i paid £400 odd for mine in 2009 during a heatwave and i thought i got a billy bargain !

To be fair its completely mint, and came with a massive zip up bag for it to live in so can't complain i suppose!

Those MX5parts ones are brand new to be fair.

I was really hoping for at least £400 for mine but had to accept that nothing was making that money on ebay etc and needed a very quick sale. I would probably have got more being patient, selling later in the year or selling at a club meet or similar. Decent ones with a bag are hitting around £300-350 at the moment.

I feel a little bad now for him paying too much.
