Having a bit of a 'mare at the moment. I have a moaning N/S/R wheel bearing, so I bought the bearing and took it to a mate who owns a garage. He can't undo the hub retaining bolt and says he needs to heat it, which will knacker the rubber bushes. So i'm trying to source the OE rubber bushes, as I can't afford to poly bush it all. I'm also getting the retaining bolt and nut, but i'm struggling to find any. MX5 Parts wont have any in stock for 4 weeks, and everywhere else is pointing me to the poly bush route. Help!

Have you tried a Mazda dealer? They are sometimes surprisingly cheap for service parts! Failing that try Autolink & MX5 Heaven.

Its a bit of shed tbh, 20 years worth of muck underneath. Still no joy, MX5 parts will not have any in stock until September, no joy elsewhere. Grrr.

Have you tried http://www.jagspares.co.uk/

(I know it's not a jag. But they do lots of cars. Took over SFT doing MX5 bits)

OEM bushes are not listed on either, but I've sent an email query to see what I can get back.

Their websites don't have everything - probably less than 10% of what they actually have. They are both breakers and also do some new stuff so if you give either a call I'm sure they will both have what you need.

Poly's shouldn't be too expensive for just the one set. I think you can buy them individually.

My local Mazda dealer in Wolverhampton said they can get OEM bushes in by 8.30 the next day if ordered before 11.00am. Well see!
