My dads 1990 Eunos roadster has developed a rattle on the rear passenger when going over a bump. We have taken the wheels off and tried to see if anything is loose but cannot find a cause. We have tried rocking it when stationary and cant get it to make the knock then only when driving. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance

Jack or tools loose in the boot?
Exhaust?
Brake pads (I've been told they can rattle but never had it myself)
Broken spring (you'd probably have noticed)

Plus are you sure of the location, there is some ventriloquism going on with rattles and squeaks coming from different directions than the actual source.

i have this too, have taken my tools out the boot, tightened up the shock top mount, arb mount, drop links, bottom shock bolt, and it's still there frown

clunks when the suspension moves about.

I've got this, i'm sure it's coming from the passenger seat - the squeak depends on where on the rails the seat is positioned! It's annoying, and i cant work out how to fix it.

one thing you could look at is the plate in back left of the boot that covers some of the fuel tank bits. I had a rattle and solved it by tightening up the bolts that hold this pannel on. Just an idea.

Do we all have this ?! I have a clonk rather than a rattle.

Seems to be passenger side rear as well.

Well mine is a clatter. Pretty sure it's brake pads. If i lightly apply the handbrake approaching a bump, the rattle doesn't happen,
