Hello all,

I've been a member on Pistonheads for a while but i'm new to the Mazda MX5/Eunos/Miata forum.

Just thought I would say hi and introduce you to my new 1997 S Special Type 2 Eunos Roadster which I bought last Thursday.

Here are a few pictures....

Edit: That didn't work! How do you show pictures again!? frown

Thanks guys! Yeah fair point maybe the luggage rack and sticker should go, just haven't had the chance to do anything with it yet smile

I'm thinking maybe some chrome mirrors and a little bit of bling inside the cabin?

Looks amazing underneath yikes Is it a very recent import?

How does it sound with the ARC chamber?

I bought it from a very nice gentleman in Plymouth who had it imported in 2009. He's obviously loved it and pampered it and it's only seen two winters so yeah nice and clean! Not had the chance to drive it with the roof down yet coz i bought a hardtop for it and it's been on since I bought the car but first impressions is the ARC is quite quiet...

Hmm, I was expecting the opposite! Maybe just another over-hyped 'JDM' trinket that only serves to make the engine bay look pretty?

Lovely car, enjoy thumbup

Thanks!

THe ARC is not super quite but i've only ever had an aftermarket induction kit once before on a Renault 19 16V which was a K&N and that was a lot more noticable!

Car looks great after further bearding. Amazing condition all around, roadster mats which are pretty rare, drilled pedals, magnecor leads, nice suspension, 15" BBS, remnants of MSSS (the tweeters) and actually is that some kind of custom leather dash? You've done very well sir, congrats.

And so you should be. Would it be rude to ask how much?

I was going to estimate 3k actually, as that would be top of the market for a top Mk1. Good price for an excellent car mate.

few nice bits on there - think the suspension was a very expensive option.

You get noise from open element filters, not changing the intake tract post MAF, so I'm not surprised there's little change in the noise levels smile

Your car looks amazingly clean, congratulations!

I have the exact same luggage rack (used for a euro trip), and it will have (superficially) scuffed the paint underneath the rubber strips. So if you do remove it. Expect to spend a little time "making good".

Other than that. You appear to have an excellent car!
