'99 Dials and backlighting - what colour should it be?
Discussion
What is standard?
My car has Green backlighting to the HVAC and a green, LCD digital clock.
The Instruments are White backing, and Orange backlighting though?
Is this normal?
The reason I wonder is that it doesnt look at all aftermarket, its very, very nicely done.
(The ODO LCD is green still too).
I'd like it all to match, thats why I ask. I am assuming its going to be easier to change the HVAC to orange...

is what your clocks look like Lazza?
It seems I have 2001 spec clocks in my car, as that's the exact setup I have!?
Bizarre...

I think the Mk2 & Mk2.5 instruments look the same other than the dial faces. Mk2.5 odo is red though so if you have green odo red/white dials then it looks like someone has just swapped the Mk2 dial faces & lighting for Mk2.5 dial faces & lighting. Not a bad suggestion I'd say as I think the white dial faces look much nicer
