Just as the topic says - interested to know if the Eibach lowering springs compromise ride quality? Or can the car be lowered using this kit with no perceived drawbacks?

Assume yours is not an RC. They seem to be more compromised but that's heresay from others not because i know that for sure.
Only thing i'd point to is make sure the alignment is re-done following fitting smile

Which model? The MK3 is supposed to be better with the optional Eibach springs I believe....

I've also read that.

Not actually driven one in anger with the lowering kit, but have heard they make it feel much better. WIM wheel alignment afterwards too for even bigger smiles.

Mine is fine. Yes you know you've got stiffer springs on but they don't make the ride harsh or crashy. What they do make the car feel is more planted wiht less roll. Turn in is better and I feel I can get back on the power sooner coming out of the corner, it's more fun to drive. Looks alot better too. Just make sure you get the geo set up.

Handling is better but ride quality is compromised. This is my view from test driving a Mk3 ZSport on standard suspension, and optioning up my RC Coupe with Eibachs for handling and looks.

There are two options I believe that drop the car 25mm or 40mm (I think..), had the milder of these fitted to the wifes 2.0 Sport by Gugliemi's together with some tweaks to the geometry. Result.. a transformation and the car noi linger feels like it is on tiptoe. Apart from a few more incidents of grounding on rough terrain I dont find the ride compromised.

I've got Mazdaspeed/Eibach springs on my MKI. They lower it so the wishbones are level and the ride is slightly stiffer. Handles like a dream. If the MKIII set up is as well thought out it should be excellent.
