Insurance in a eunos for a 22 year old?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Been looking at some import mx5's, as they seem to be better priced, specced etc than uk cars.
However ive been getting quotes of over £1k for imports and £500 for uk cars. Where can i insure a eunos for cheap? Any classic insurers as it wont be my main car and will be on a drive etc.
Cheers

Had my '5 through some broker off moneysupermarket for £600-700ish when I was 22 (2 years ago).
Speak to a few brokers as well, I'm paying just under £600 (renewal has just come through at £590 inc. extras on the policy) for mine with Adrian Flux and I have 3pts for speeding and a (slightly!) modified car.

Don't have an import but I pay £1263 for my standard mk2.5 1.8 sport with Elephant (Aged 20, 0 NCB).
I tried all the specialists etc but most were ridiculously high priced or couldn't cover as under 21. Sky insurance seemed very helpful and good to deal with though so I'll try them again next time at 21.

Hi Mate
Im the same age as you and have always found Admiral/Bell/Hastings/Elephant to be the cheapest (although still not 'cheap' by any means) when insuring performance cars.
Im currently with adrian flux paying £1300 on a 99' celica SR, I shopped around last week and hastings quoted me 800FC, which is still expensive I think. Driving since I was 17 with 3 years ncb.
Cheers
