heated seats stopped working Mk2.5

The wind must have blown a load of water in during a storm the other night. The seat felt pretty damp. Since then the heated seats dont work.
Is this a quick fix or has it blown for good?

As with anything electrical that gets wet - leave them to dry out for a while before testing. They could start working again in a week. It could be moisture causing a short circuit, or similar. The worst thing you can do is keep testing them! Re-asses in a week then see what you need to do.

If they have shorted it'll probably cause a fuse to blow. If you're lucky replacing it will get them working again (once it's fully dried out!).
