Got my sills done today..
Discussion
MOT has expired, and the sills needed done to even have a chance in passing.
Thought it was only one sill that was bad, turned out there they were both rotten. The one that looked alright, was actually much worse!
Got both of them cut out, welded, painted and treated for £200!
Very happy with how it turned out, I'll try and get a few photos. Got it done by a local body man who has done a good bit of work for the family, he works from his house.
He painted the entire length of the sill, and got rid of rusty patches that were starting to show under the Eunos sill plate.
It's locked up in the garage now until I come back from University..

Sounds very good value, lots of work done for the money paid!
Did he just cut out the rot and weld in sections where required, or were the entire sills cut out and replaced - if so did he use the replacement panels or fabricate his own metalwork.
Curious as mine still need done, car sitting MOT-less in the garage until I get on the case!
