MK1 Towing Eyes

Does anyone have towing eyes like in the pic? Or any idea where you can buy them. I've found some in America but the cost a fortune p+p.

There's a member on MX5Nutz going by the handle 'Jas' IIRC who makes and sells his own version of a towing eye. very good value compared to importing from the states IIRC too.

Other than that, if you want that exact style towing eye you'll have to import I'm afraid.

Might be worth keeping an eye out on tetsuya garage or even emailing Rod and importing direct from Japan though. (Most US stuff will be imported from Japan, no point effectively paying for shipping twice).

They look good but other than sticking out a bit further they are no better than the standard tie-down hooks. They mount to the same holes.
