Has Anyone Fitted a Mk2.5 Engine Into a Mk2?
Discussion
As title - has anyone fitted a complete NB2 engine into an NB? I believe that I will need to swap over some sensors, although Im not sure which; and that the coil pack will need re-siting as the VVT appendage on the NB2s head will be in the way.
I am lead to believe that I will end up with a 146bhp engine with less midrange, as the NB2 engine has a slightly hotter cam with the VVT propping up the midrange - is this correct?
Plan B would be to use the NB2 bottom end, whichll get around the coil pack issue, but it makes a good deal of other work: whether its easier, as has been suggested to me, or not, Im not sure...
Wise words appreciated.

Tell him matt wheldon told you to call, he will look after you anyway. I find steve to be reasnoable price wise, not the cheapest but you know you will get a good job done propperly!
His attention to detail is amazing compared to the monkeys ive used befire and other works ive seen done on friends cars.

Yes, Im not sure what he is messing about at. I agreed to buy it on Saturday, but he agreed to sell it to someone else yesterday and he is still pushing it on the for sale forum this morning.
Whats really pissed me off is that instead of dealing with his mistake he expects me to wait and see if the other fellow turns up, rather than manning up and telling the new buyer that he has made a mistake. Why he is still bumping his for sale post I cant explain.
I think that the man is a prat.
