Help required

Hi everyone, I have searched the forums but can't seem to find a thread that covers my problem.
My MK1 1.6 Mx5 has developed a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from the front drivers side wheel. Its a constant noise that doesn't change with speed and only occurs when in gear and accelerating. I have been searching the web for hours trying to solve this but can't seem to find anything that covers it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me insane.

All ready checked for that, annoyingly the noise is only there when in gear and accelerating its not there when revving in idle either.

Mate best bet is to look on Mx5oc forum or Mx5Nutz forum they will be able to help you if you get no luck here.

Cheers andy have posted on nutz as well already, trying to broaden the search as this problem is doing my head in

anything to do with the evap canister? is there a relay/valve on them?
