Rather than start a load of new threads I'll just ask all the questions here.

1) I'm going to do the rear bumper cutout today, planning on removing the bumper skin and crash reinforcement to trim them (If needed). Could someone briefly explain how I remove the skin from a Mk1?

I had a look under the car yesterday and couldn't really see where it is connected.

2) RE disconnecting the fog light; are there any issues with just removing the Foglight, disconnecting the wires and letting them hang (or tuck them up inside).

I imagine if there's no voltage going to it it may not be an issue, but I don't want to risk battery drain or any electrical issues.

Any advice would be great.

3) Also I was rolling the car into the garage and heard a squeak from the left rear wheel.

The wheel doesn't appear to be able to move, and the squeak only really happens when the car is pushed forwards and back. Doesn't happen if the suspension is compressed over the wheel, or if the car is rocked from its side.

I'm thinking it could be a bush on the rear left. Again, safety issue at all?
