Mk 1 Eunos 1.8 - forced induction options

Hi all,
I have a Mk1 Eunos 1.8, in good shape bodily and mechanically, and great fun! I'm looking for more grunt - I've previously owned Caterhams/TVRs and the like - and thinking that turbocharging might be the way to go?
I've read good things about the BBR conversion, and although I'm sure that by sourcing parts separately/ebay etc I could save money (probably lots), I like the idea of a turn-key conversion with no hassle. Currently working long hours and just want to drive the car when I can!
My question is - has anyone experience of this conversion, or the Flyin Miata's FM2 equivalent?
