Like an idiot I was showing my mate how to take the gear stick off while I was still driving, suddenly I had to change gear so I quickly screwed the gearstick back on.

Now its come to the time where my gearbox oils need changing and I can't get the damn thing off!

Has anyone got any tips on how to loosen it up and get it off?

Tried going to the gym?

You don't need to remove the gearlever to change the box oil though, drain and fill are on the bottom/side of the box respectively.

You can easily remove the gearlever with the knob still attached if you want/need to replace the turret oil.

Otherwise if you can't do it manually you'll have to break out the maulgrips.
