Just been to look at a nice MK2. Just needs both rear arches and rear section of sills replacing. Anyone had this done and have a ballpark figure cost for this type of work?

I`m hunting for a mk 2.5 1.8 at the moment and have spent ages reading threads about sill rot.

You need to speak to Garath the MX5 Restorer in Sussex. Might not be the cheapest but very highly praised work.
