Anyone managed to raise a Mk2 (NB) steering column?
Discussion
I own a Mk2 RS to which I have fitted S2 Elise seats and I have also fitted a OMP Corsica 350mm dished steering wheel.
Although, I am now sitting lower the instruments are partially obscured. I can't go any lower in the car without significant work. Ideally I need to raise the steering wheel slightly or I will need to scrap the OMP wheel and re-use the original airbag wheel which is eccentric(?) i.e. the hub is off cntre and the rim is raised away from the legs and at the same time improves the view of the instruments. The OMP wheel is centric and therefore it's much lower, which is... disappointing!

Id love to be able to adjust it being 6ft2 its not in the ideal position but there's little point now as I'm selling anyways. I think there was a post about this on MX5 Nutz as I can remember searching google a while ago when I first bought it to see if there was a way but I've just searched again and can't seem to find it. May be worth another post on there or at least another search.
Sorry I can't be of any more help.
