After a bit of advice. I have a Eunos that unfortunately hasn't had much running for the past year. It has been garaged for the past 2 years. The lack of use started when it became very temperamental to start. I believe the battery is buggered and could do with fitting a new one. Also unfortunately the sills look like they need doing. Mot is out and I see no way it can pass in its current state. To top it off I rolled it out the garage today to generally put together a list of what needs sorting and the passenger footwell is soaked. Seems an awful lot of water in the carpet but it hasn't been out in the wet for well over a year and the garage is completely sealed. Any ideas?

Well I guess the heater could have dropped all of its contents if you are sure it was dry when it was put in the garage ?

If not, then the drain holes are blocked near the rear shelf, water fills up and then runs down into the cockpit area.

it was well over. Year ago, maybe 2 years ago that it was last used in the wet. Where would I find the drain holes? It's only the passenger side though.

Open the doors and look at the 'a' post seal at the top. There's a fold in it where the water drains through. In the rear, check just near the windblocker mounting area there is a hole in the corner. Not easy to explain but there is a hole in the corner of the carpeted area the roof fold down into.

I used a bit of old satellite cable to push down the drain holes and clear my mk2 (i had water in the sills that i could hear when braking after our high rain fall at the start of 'summer'. Cleared it a treat, no problems since). You should get loads of black foul water come out and hey presto!

Thanks very much. Not had a chance to get out today but will hope for a dry Sunday to leave to top off to air. I'll have a go with a coat hanger to see what I can find...
