Afternoon gents,

Got a MK3 and it needs to rear brakes and I've no idea where to start.

It's only the back brakes which need doing, but I'm considering upgrading all of them. Now does anyone know any garages who would be happy just do the labor bit (or do they all?) and secondly is there a garage in the area who would be happy to upgrade them with their own stock?

Odd question I know. Be kind smile

Do you use the handbrake for drifting? If so - then yes replace the back brakes, otherwise, they don't do much.

After 60k miles mine are still the originals with plenty of life left..

Just stumbled on this - Colehill Garage in Wimborne are just a general mechanics, but they've done loads of stuff for me, including many jobs with my supplied parts. And they are brilliant.

Ring me on 07770 566599 and I'll talk you through doing it yourself. Its VERY easy even a 10yr old could do it.
