boot lid corrosion

Hi everyone, after a bit of help, i've a thread running in the bodywork / detailing section regarding some corrosion to the bootlid on my mx-5 (2007 nc / mk3), if anyone has experience of rectifying this, your views / experience would be much appreciated. Thanks, p.s. only just joined but i've been reading this bit of the site with interest!
