Discussion
I've just missed a one of the above for less than £3k (advertised in the morning, sold by tea time) and have spotted a few more for around £3.5k, however, apart from the one at £3k non of them seem to be tickling my fancy due to strange people answering the phone when I call them (and lying).
So, does anyone have an idea of where to pick one of these up for up to £3.5k? Must be a 1.8 though.
Cheers

Any particular reason for wanting a Euphonic?
How about an SVT sport. They have an LSD and 6 speed gearbox

Just replied to your other thread. The Euphonic is a great spec - if buying one make sure it still has the sound board, head-unit and disc changer in place.
I personally like the Arctic best of all, that's what I'd seek out if buying again.

"Where would I find the sound board?"
By sound board I was just referring to the original windblocker fitted to the Euphonic that has integral speakers (the post above refers to an afermarket product possibly?)
There was a website which detailed all the special edition brochures and specs but it appears to be down at the moment :
http://www.mx5-3rdgenerationlimited.com/mx5limited...
However, in the meantime the Euphonic spec can also be found here if you don't have it already :

They're the same car as a sport apart from... ...and are newer in general
Well the Euphonic was a special edition and not available for the full lifetime of the Mk2.5 whereas the Sport was just the top spec standard car so was available from 2001 when the Mk2.5 started to 2005 when it was replaced by the Mk3.MX-5 Lazza said:

I love it when people misquote. I know the sport was there until the end of the MK2. I've added the bit of text you left off. If you take a look at the prices, for £3500, the choices in general appear to be an 03/53 sport or an 04 Euphonic. In a lot of cases the euphonic a have less miles on them too. Given that they're pretty much the same car, but with nicer wheels and interior, the Euphonic appears to be the better buy. Maybe the sport has different suspension or something but the standard cars drive well enough anyway. Gassing Station | Mazda MX5/Roadster/Miata | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
