Did post this in the mechanics section, but thought I should share it here aswell seeing as the MX-5 will be sat on them most of the winter.

I always hated the fact that even my extra long ramps could still result in your face being pressed against the sump in certain situations and had noticed these for sale a few times, so when a set came up second hand, I had a bid.I use a mechanics creeper to slide about underneath, but you can crawl in with plenty of room, too.Given the space, I would love a proper lift, but in terms of getting a car in the air safely, these are brilliant. Not all cars will fit in that garage mind you, the Subaru was very close to the door!

Incidentally, if anyone lives reasonably close to the Kent area and wanted to use them to underseal their car for example, you are welcome to pop down and have a play (small cars only though!)

Excellent. What would one search for to find a set of those for sale?

These are the originals and still the best. Not cheap, but I got mine second hand for £360 although they don't crop up that often.
