Mx5 mk1 exhaust system

Hi ino an exhaust system won't up the power in my 98 mk2 but I do like a more sportier exhaust note so I was wondering if anyone could tell me weather a mk1 exhaust system would fit a mk2 or is I totally different any feed back would be great. Thanks

They are different. You can swap the full system but not just a back box.
