What Tyres For My MK2

Apologies if this has been asked before. I have had the 5 4 wheel aligned and was told then that I had perhaps 1000 miles left in the rubber Kuhmo Ecsta 204/45/16 83v Have been offered Uniroyal Rainsport 2 at £80 a corner fitted. Comments/advice

What do you use the car for? How do you drive? What do you want from the tyre?

Quick look on blackcircles shows Uniroyal Rainsport 2's at £56 a corner fitted at one of their 'fitting centres' - So £80 seems a little steep.

I have them on my mk2 atm and I can't fault them; they get a lot of good praise

EDIT: Whoops, I was doing the prices for my tyres which are only 15's! £88 on blackcircles then, so now £80 seems much better. My bad!

The car will be a Summer Car for my wife,show use and charity drives with The Sporting Bears and Road Rallies again with the Bears.) She drives sensibly ie within her capabilities taking road conditions etc into account. Like to floor it when appropriate and want to feel that she/we are glued to the road rather than skating on it ie in the wet.
