Is there a worse car than a MK1 for locks that can't cope with it being -1c?

I haven't had my locks freeze but I have had the doors freeze closed, and the handles are hopeless for really pulling it open. As for scraping the inside of the windows - I've had more cars that have needed that than cars that haven't!

This. My mk1 came with 4 keys (for some reason?) I prompty bent 3 of them, probably 1 in each lock, before getting the WD40 out on the locks (this was in Spring, so can't blame the cold) So I had to get another 2 cut. My brother's 5 series key cost £200 to replace. hehe

VX220s are much worse. Not only did the lock freeze, the barrel freezed solid too. The door was also frozen to the body!
