Hey folks,

I am looking to get a 4 wheel alignment done on my 5. I am trying to figure out the best place to go in the Brighton area. I know of WiM is the place of choice for most in the South but I would prefer a closer location if possible. Does anyone know a reliable place nearby that does good work on mk1 5's?

I am also have the problem where the steering wheel isn't quite straight. I tried to get my local garage to sort this but they didn't have much luck straightening it out, they got it a little bit better but they said they couldn't get it any straighter so it's still slightly off. Would the alignment help here too?

Cheers,

Page.

It's worth going to WIM, I did.

A few miles away granted, but they certainly know what they are doing.

It IS worth going to WiM BUT there are plenty of other good places around. Take recommendations from local people. Anyone who prepares race cars are always a good place to start.

I know of somebody in WOrthing who has dealt with a couple of cars for me.
When I took my 5 in there they realised it was also track used and had another setting for 'fast road' use so didn't just have standard settings.

Let me know if you want their name.

Thanks for the replies guys, Worthing could be a good option for me as I could nip over in a afternoon after work.

Could you reply with the name SimonV8ster or pm it to me? Thanks.
