Uneven ride height

Hi all, I'm wandering if anyone can shed light on why my ride height is uneven. I have rookor coilovers on my car currently (I know, I know...) and after lowering th car slightly at the front I've noticed the car on the near side front is about 4-5mm lower than the drivers side despite the spring seats being in the same position.
So I'm wandering why this is? Is it possible that its just because I have cheapo coilies or something else? The top mounts are all brand new etc.
Also should I lower the offending side down or leave the coilovers as they are at the same position on each side? As these coilovers adjust ride height by moving the spring seats I don't want to have a different 'stiffness' on each side.

Seriously though, you need to set the ride height according to the chassis, not by having the shocks at the same height. You'll need to get the alignment done anyway so better to book it in and get them to set the height at the same time. They should be able to do that on a good laser alignment machine.

Cheers Lazza! I presumed you'd be along with a helpful answer. I've lowered the nearside front down to match the drivers. Haven't noticed a diffrence. Yeah I'm going to get the alignment done after I fit the polybushes I've got sitting waiting to go in. Everything takes ages when its your daily car!
