Morning,

I decided some home mechanics would be good last night and i changed my rear pads and discs, however, the 'M' clip which goes over the pads and calliper sprung of into oblivion.

Mazda want £50 as they come with the pads. Has anyone changed theres and has some spare? Ideally around the Hertford area.

Cheers

Not a huge help but i did buy 1 for my mk1 from either mx5 parts or autolink, can't rememeber which but it was only £2 or something posted.

You can drive without them though.

Do you mean the very flimsy looking piece of metal that sort of seperates the pads? If that's the bit you mean then I'm pretty sure I've got a spare you can have for free. Mikeyplum helped me out the other week and sent a bit for free so I'm happy to help you out and do the same.

I'll check when I get home tonight. I'm 99% sure I've got one. Drop me a PM with your address.

Reminded me there's one missing off one of my calipers after a similar pinging incident.
