Hi guys and gals,

Can anyone confirm which brakes the MX5 10AE came with as standard? Seems to be either 20mm or 22mm discs and there also seem to be two different Calipers too?! I need to replace discs, calipers and pads for my wife's 10AE and just need to check which ones to order and where best to get them from (MX5 parts, MX5 city or Eurocarparts)...

Bit confused, can anyone help?

Standard 1.8 brakes. Same from 1993 from the launch of the Mk1 1.8 right through to the 2005 launch of the Mk3.

The only exception on 1.8s is the Mk2.5 (2001 to 2005) 1.8 Sport and some Mk2.5 special editions that had the "big brakes".

Thanks for the advice, pretty sure mine has standard brakes. Guess so long as the discs / pads and calipers match it doesn't matter too much.
