Canvas Rag Top Question

Hi

I have a TVR S and keep wondering if a fast acting rag-top like the eunos / MX5 mk1 could be copied / modified & fitted to a TVR S instead of the hybrid fold down rear and twin targa thing

Does anyone know the main dimensions of the mx5 / eunos 1 hood?

distance front to back of door windows
distance top to bottom of door windows
width across top of door windows
distance horizontally from front of rear body to windscreen top rail?

These will help me decide of i am loony or on a possible track

next step park up next to one and have a look!

any help much appreciated :-)

Right, these figures are for a Mk2.5 but at the moment they're all you've got!

52 cm along top of window glass
33 cm top to bottom midway along window
114 cm across the cabin window top to window top.
Circa 120 cm from front to back as described.

I believe the hoods are the same / interchangeable. There are plenty on here, honest!, who will know for sure.

where abouts are you? i have a mk1 hood and frame kicking about,a bit tatty and split rear screen,but fine for mock up,yours if you want it
