I had a Moto-Lita steering wheel in a car years ago and fancied another one. Here's the result. I ended up with a couple of spacers to choose from and two top rings (the thing with all the screws showing) as well as the boss kit. I went for the 1" spacer to help get the bottom of the wheel away from my leg and a polished top ring to brighten things up. The screws that came with the wheel were a bit "budget" I thought so I found some nice stainless countersunk hex head things instead and polished them up a bit for fun. I'm pleased with the results, ergonomic and aesthetic. There didn't appear to be a wheel with a deeper dish available from Moto-Lita. I sold the original Momo one on Ebay.

That's a nice wheel. What size is it? Looks more meaty than the momo smile

It is 14" so theoretically the same as the Momo. I put the two together and there was no obvious difference. The rim feels a bit thicker now it is fitted and not as smooth due to the polishing effect of wear.

Does a normal momo type boss work with these or does it need a special boss? Any links appreciated smile

Yes but it is the most important interface between man and machine and I get to hold it all the time and look at it. Works out cheaply really.
