As per the title, I'm getting a click-clack noise from my seatbelt tower in my mk1. I don't notice it much but it drives herself mad. I'm not even sure what it is, but she's not happy with my solution of drive faster so you can't hear it over the engine. Anyone any ideas?

leave the wife indoors!clap

I had the socket set out on my eunos at the weekend, surprising what was loose after 6 months of ragging and track days. Lift up carpets, trays, seats and anything else that moves and give everything a wind up. you would be surprised what that cures. Ive just got to get mine up on ramps to tighten up the underside

I get this too but only since I fitted a sparco sprint 5 changing the angle east which the belt comes out at

hmm, I've only noticed it since I did a foamectomy. Could be that. Will have to check what height she sits at.

There's a number of large top-hat shaped washers under the bolt that holds the seat belt to the tower. If the wrong combination of those washers are fitted, they will rattle and generally annoy the hell out of you. You need to remove the seat belt bolt to check.
