Issues after hard use on these brakes!
Discussion
At the moment I'm getting bad juddering from the brakes on my MX. It's only done 3 track days on brand new pads and discs, and I'm getting warped disc symptoms - severe juddering if I try and brake hard. The pads are Axxis ULT and the discs are OEM spec Pagid items.
I'm beginning to suspect that the Axxis pads can't stand up to the hard track work I'm subjecting them to. I've heard that if the pads are too soft for what you're using them for, it can lead to 'pad smearing' on the discs which gives the same symptoms as warped discs. A couple of pictures are below, any opinions?
Here's what my pads are looking like.

Here's what the face of my discs look like.

Any recommendations for the best pads for hard track use with sticky tyres?
Cheers all

Carbotech panther.
They are astonishingly good, but they will totally destroy your wheels with brake dust and iron from your discs.
See 2nd review here http://www.miata.net/products/perform/carbotech.ht...
Note they will wear your discs out quicker than pads - the dust is bits of iron.

I've used Axis ULT before and would use them again now if I could find them anywhere for the Sport brakes. I've never had a problem with them in any way at all on my car and I give them quite a bit of abuse on track as you'd expect.
I'm not sure what your problem is but juddering only on heavy braking doesn't sound like warped discs. If they were warped you usually feel it with any braking effort, not just heavy braking. Could you possibly have another problem somewhere? Wheel bearings or worn bushes somewhere?
