Weaver didn't you take on a Hinkelsteain and lost or was that the M3 - never did hear the full story of the later - any recollections?!
Bet you were pleased you had a full cage?
How do I know? Because we were driving out of Dorchester Hospital as you drove in, one of our number having done considerable damage to mates MK and (fortunately) slight damage to themselves.
Halycon days..... but they didn't repeat it did they?
Cheers, Pewe.

not surprised you crashed it, that front nearside tyre looks well below the legal limit

Ah yes, you kindly gave me your pay and display ticket IIRC. Thanks again. Bet you were pleased you had a full cage?

There were a few prangs that day, more than I've experienced on any other track event. I fell victim to one of the logs that was conveniently protecting the grass run-off. I remain convinced that the car wouldn't have rolled had that not been there.

I did walk away from that, just 5 stitches in my elbow where it scraped the ground after the door was practically ripped off. My passenger got out completely without injury. The car had a full cage, if it hadn't it would have been a different story I'm sure, my helmet did get badly scuffed where it hit the tarmac. Only had standard 3 point seat belts too. The worst part of course was that it was not my car...
