Hi there I have brought a set of mk2 Prosport coilovers and what I thought was a set of mk2 top mounts but all I have received is the top mount washer and the rubber bushes is this all I need to fit the mk2 coilovers or do I need the part with the bolts that go through the chassis.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks shaun

Yes you need the black painted metal plate with the two studs pressed in. You should have two different rubbers per corner (one for each side of the plate) and a dished washer for the top rubber.

That's the top mounts mate, you can re use the ones from your existing shocks,
Or you can get them from eBay .

mx5 shaun has a Mk1 so if the shocks are for a Mk2 then it's better to use Mk2 top mounts.
