How to spot a mx5 s

Hi I'm looking for a cheap mx5 for my first rwd I'll be doing a couple off track days a year so want a s really for the LSD, I have seen some advertised as s and others not but with the leather seats and 3 spoke steering wheel. Do all mx5 s have leather seats and the 3 spoke steering wheel ?

They don't all have leather seats,but I think they all have the leather Nardi wheel and ABS as standard.....

I'm not sure any had ABS? Certainly not all. S Specs have a yellow strut brace, though some may have found their way on to base spec cars.

My "S" has the strut brace, crashy suspension, cloth seats, l.s.d. and no a.b.s. It did have the Nardi wheel but that's languishing in the garage somewhere as it came with a nice leather rim job...

Forgot to say - if it still has the import sticker (driver's door shut) it may say on the description, mine does.

I'm talking about UK spec 1.8S NB cars not Eunos NA S special models.
If it's an import there's a good chance that it will have a Torsen LSD,if it's a UK NA.....most likely won't unless it's been retro fitted.

UK mk2 1.8is cones with the nice nardi 3 spoke wheel, which is the easiest way to spot it. Also electric wingmirrors.
It's does Not come with a Torsen as standard.

My 2002 SV-T is going up for sale probably early next week. 6 Speed, LSD, Leather heated seats, 3 spoke wheel etc, electric mirrors etc.

Give me a shout if it interests you; it could save me actually having to put it up for sale!

Mk2 1.8is came with ABS and type 2 Torsen LSD as standard....
