Hi, I'm on a budget to have fun with a mx5 mk2is was thinking of coilovers or lowering springs as these are a DIY job, but is the alingment needed I've seen DIY toe adjustments using string
, but will the camber also need adjusting after a suspension fiddle ?
Thanks in advance

Have your car aligned properly it makes it feel superb.
When I had mine done it was like night and day the difference was that big.
Where abouts are you based?

If you change the ride height the alignment drastically changes! Get it properly aligned, if your north west way then blink motorsport is the way to go!

DIY alignment using string is only really just to get it driveable to get it safely to somewhere to get it properly sorted. If you are only changing ride height there is no need for DIY alignment but a professional job will be required very soon afterwards otherwise it's a complete waste of money.

Also, coilovers, not lowering springs.
