New MX-5 specialist for the Midlands

Thought I'd spread the word a bit on a new MX-5 specialist that's just opened up in Nottingham called 5 Speed. I should have posted this earlier because they had an open day today but never mind!

It's been formed by a former Subaru and Ferrari mechanic who is now a keen MX-5 enthusiast. He's a trustworthy bloke and knows his stuff and already has a good reputation amongst the North East Midlands owners club both as a general mechanic and also the performance side of things (his own car's an animal ).

I think the EAST Midlands has been missing somewhere like this so keep them in mind if you want somewhere reliable and honest. Full details are here:

Bought ours off of him, and has been only too happy to help since then.

Of course! I was referring more to having somebody who deals with the performance side of things e.g. turbos, superchargers, suspension etc.

I have had FI'd MX5's for over 10 years and currently have a 1.8 Coldside SC and an FM2 track toy.

I have an FM2 for sale and have recently sold and fitted two SC kits.

But hey, more people playing with 5's means more fast 5's so its all good.

I've not turned to the FI side yet so didn't know we already had somebody in the area. OK, in that case let's just say that there's another quality MX-5 specialist in the Midlands
