I know, it's only just come off, but whilst I think about it there was quite a lot of creaking from the top over diagonal ridges last winter.

I was wondering if I could perhaps lube the hardtop seal when I put it back on - any thoughts as to whether this can be done, and if so would it make a difference (and with what - Vaseline?)

ETA - dyslexia strikes on the title - Doh!

Not sure if it's possible, but from memory, Vaseline would not be the best as it has some ingredients in it which can damage the rubber over time.
