I've decided to make an offset numberplate bracket, one of the ones that attaches to the right-hand tow hook/tie down eye. After spending all morning trawling the net Neo style I cant seem to find a decent picture of one. Does anyone have a good shot of theirs and maybe some dimensions? I have a nice sheet of aluminium about 4mm thick and plenty big enough.

Might as well turn this into a build thread. I've got a decent amount of ally so might run off a batch of them. scratchchin

Since mine is lost somewhere along the A666 near Bolton, I'd be interested in purchasing one of these off you if you're doing a batch?

Will a UK-type rectangular plate fit on one of these without hanging off the side? I'm not a big fan of the square plates, but i'm also not a big fan of sticking plate holders onto the nose.

Well this is the finished result. Not too keen on the standard size plate anyway so I did this with plans to get a JDM size plate but none the less thats what it looks like. I probs wont be running off a batch as im not happy with the finish of the bracket itself. I dont have anything more than a mallet and vice to bend the ally up so corners are more like curves.

Looks ok! I'm not a fan of rectangular plates so think it looks a little bit big. I have a 7x9 on mine and quite like it!

My corners are rounded & curvy as that's how i wanted them & when i purchased the holder i had it done that way with an extra bend to keep it upright - too many face downwards...
