rear fog light on mk1 1.8

Could someone tell me how the rectangular rear fog lamp is meant to be atatched to the car? On my car its actually held on with a cable tie bodged by a previous owner! So i guess i must be missing a mounting bracket or something?

hi,i changed my off side reverse light in a rear fog light,just take the feed from your old fog lamp and terminate it to the connection on the reverse lamp holder then put in an led red lamp in ,hope this helps,artdon

Or similar to above, reroute it to the high level brake light if you have one.

Failing that, you'll need to buy any old bracket really, but they do look a bit unsightly hanging down there.

Thanks for the replies, i like the idea about using one of the reversing lamps, would look much better..
